La Tomatina – Tomato Fighting Festival

If you’re one of those people that loved starting food fights in the school cafeteria, you’re going to love La Tomatina festival. each year on the last Wednesday of August, thousands of people gather on the streets of Buñol, Spain and launch more than a hundred tons of tomatoes at each other. Tradition says the tomato fight La Tomatina is supposed to begin when someone manages to climb a greasy pole two-story wood and get a piece of ham, but since he always takes the battle begins suddenly.

In La Tomatina people just come to you and break the right shirt to go, even if you are a woman so do not act surprised or frightened at all.
